Not bad. Clear golden in color with a very slight white head. Aroma is okay...notes of corn, banana, and a little spice. Good carbonation on the palate. The taste is smooth all the way through. Banana, clove, and corn make up the light flavor. A very drinkable beer, but nothing too exciting.

Aug 11, 2008 Bottle at Woodlands in G-burg.Pretty middle of the road Hefe. Not much in the way of the typical banana, close flavor that i look for. Very light with a hint of said attributes. Its allright, but why buy this when a guy can get the king of Hefe, Dancing Man, for a buck cheaper a sixer.

Jul 26, 2008 Poured cloudy yellow. Aroma - citrus and yeast. Well carbonated non-desript American wheat beer. Lacks the robust banana and clove spiciness of a real German hefe. Not unpleasant, but no reason to buy this on a regular basis when there are so many good hefes out there.

Jul 21, 2008 Thanks for the taste Beerhunter, I’m pretty sure I’ve tried it though. Pours a bright clear golden colour with basically no head. Aroma is malty, with a distinct pilsner malt aroma. Mouthfeel is light, but easy- flavors are strong hops and lots of carbonation.

Jul 14, 2008 Not a classic Hefe, but still a decent beer. Unfiltered, rather sweet. Pleasant on the palate. If I wanted a classic German hefe, this doesn’t compare to Paulaner or Franziskhaner. But I would buy a six pack for some summer pleasure.
