50cl bottle from Chapel Down Winery, Tenterden. Golden brown with a dense billowing cream head; chocolate and caramel malt aroma; rich and buttery texture with nutty, earthy, malt flavours; rounded spicy bitter finish, clearly showing off the Kentish hops.

Bottle from farmers marker in Rochester. A good malty brew with a firm carbonation that feels forced. Is this really unfiltered - it tastes a bit clean and lifeless. Some chocolate notes in the malt add considerable interest. The hops are pleasantly tangy and grassy. A damn good ale, that would benefit from better conditioning to release some freshness and character currently lacking.
