Commercial Description:
In celebration of racing's return to the streets of Denver, we proudly present the limited-edition Grand Prix Pilsner. This handcrafted collector's brew, 1 of 500 produced, commemorates the Grand Prix of Denver, August 30 through September 1, 2002 -- when racing, once again, roared through the Mile High City.

#216: Yellowish-orange with a slight haze. Yeasty nose; fresh and clean. Decent palate, though underwhelming... but it is sort of ’meaty’ in a strange way. Frothy, lasting white head. Flowery, earthy hops. Bread dough yeast flavors with bread-like malt flavors. Hint of sourness was a nice touch. Tasty and well made, but didn"t make me raise an eyebrow. Nevertheless, one of the best Coors products I"ve had. But definitely not worth the $25 a bottle! (I didn"t realize how much it was until after it rang up. Then I was like, ah, what the hell, I"ll try anything once).
