Nov 30, 2007 Had this beer on 10/8/1999 on tap at the pub. Aroma is faint but nice. Color hazy gold with very good head. Taste is good with a mellow Hefe like taste but a bland finish.

Jul 19, 2006 Great big yeasty aroma, nicely spiced, with the clove and banana, taking the forefront as your would expect. Banana bread maltiness, slightly sweet with some lemony acidity, balanced out by just the right amount of carbonation. Decent for a ballpark beer

Jun 4, 2006 Draft @ Coors Field. Cloudy gold pour with a creamy head. The smell is wonderful, even out of the plastic cup it’s served in. Deep notes of banana and vanilla mingle with lighter notes of clove and fruit. The medium body is creamy and smooth with more banana and bready malts. Really tastes like banana cream pie, with a hint of lemon. This really is a good example of a Hefe and would gladly drink it time and time again over the other BMC offered at the ballpark. Now only if they would serve their beers throughout the park and not just on the main concourse!

Head is mostly lasting.
Body is hazy light yellow.
Aroma is moderately malty (bread), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with a strong note of banana, light note of clove.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
I’m being maybe a little enthusiastic with my score, as it’s quite sweet and a little one-dimensional in the nose (banana, banana, banana, and bread). However, it is unquestionably enjoyable and rich for the style, and I enjoyed it the most of the three I had in this session.
