Oct 10, 2005 Very hazy light yellow appearance. Fresh pale malt aroma with light banana notes. Sweet, creamy character, fresh-tasting with the esters and phenols kept rather subdued, leaving the focus to the pale malts.

Oct 3, 2005 (draft) Opaque lemon body topped by a white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, banana, bubblegum. Taste is medium sweet, banana, some wheat, light bubblegum. Light-medium body with some crispness.

Oct 18, 2005 A uniform white cap is worn by this truly murky golden body. Limited maltiness in the nose, but the yeast procures abundant banana and cloves notes into a globally very bubble gummy desserty and crusty wheat field flavor profile. Medium bodied, ful small bubbled carbonation, a bit short in flavor, but accurate and tasty.

Oct 1, 2003 Yellow, greenish shine. Nearly no head. Nose with obligatory banana - cloves, but OK. Quite sweet, a bit too for my liking, bubblegum. Tinge of mint in the flavour. Medium-bodied. Typical, and it would fit in Germany, very true to the originals.

Head is mostly lasting.
Body is hazy light yellow.
Aroma is moderately malty (bread), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with a strong note of banana, light note of clove.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
I’m being maybe a little enthusiastic with my score, as it’s quite sweet and a little one-dimensional in the nose (banana, banana, banana, and bread). However, it is unquestionably enjoyable and rich for the style, and I enjoyed it the most of the three I had in this session.
