pours a clear straw yellow with a bigfrothy off white head that settles quickly. slightly nutty sweet taste with a lot of malt notes for a generic asian lager. decent hops in the finish and a lingering light bitter aftertaste. makes a very good beverage with spicy food.

Bottled. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet metallic with a light note of malt, leading to a dry metallic finish. The body is thin. Thanks Madsberg for bringing this to Denmark.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a clear yellow with a rough, white head. Unclean sweetish fruity nose. Medium body with sweet brewing cereal and a little fruit and detergents. Basically no bitterness. 201008

Bottle. [Tasting @ Papsoe 20-10-2008] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Clear pale golden color. Aroma of mash, light rye bread like, grain. Over the palate came strange sharp notes mixed with some fruity and sweet malt. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavor, with a hint of bitterness. Light sweet fruity finish.

Bottle bought in Ooty, TN. Labeled as Sandpiper Super Premium Beer. Light golden coloured. Clear. Small dense white head. Aroma of bread, light peach and grains. Flavour of apple and peach with some bread and straw notes. Very sweet and very thin and watery. Ends on a very sweet note.

Slightly better than some of the other beers here. I would put it above overrated Haywood and on par with Kingfisher. Nothing worth seeking out, but if your in India, not many beers are.

Acquired bottled in Delhi, India. Pale golden larger. Pours with a frothy white head which is well maintained. One of the few non-strong beers that I’ve been able to obtain. Thin, adjunct, non-sense if I’m being completely honest but drunk on location it’s not the worst you could have.
