This is a terrific ale. I hope that they make it a permanent addition. Dry hopped to perfection. Refreshing ale.

On tap. Slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium body, some malts and a hoppy finish. 090709

From tap at the brewpub as Spring Pale. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Mild herbal and grassy hops aroma. Sweet malt flavoured, light fruity note. Ends sweet malt flavoured with a light fruity hops note.

Draft at the brewery. OK, so here’s the deal with every beer I had here: buttery. Adjust the color and basic flavor component to match the beer otherwise, and that pretty much wraps it up. The deal with this beer ... flat out tastes like ketchup. I have no idea what explains that. (#3589, June 2009)
