Skubic448 (5), San Diego, California, USA does not count Aug 5, 2009 Out of the bottle. This is a pretty interesting IPA. I am not sure but I think this is an unfiltered, non-pasteurized, and organic version of an IPA.
In short--it doesn’t really taste like an IPA. It reminded me more of a wheat beer with a hoppy kick. I
Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 28, 2009 On tap. Slightly hazy pale amber with a small off-white head. Light whiff of aroma hops in the nose. Medium body, lightly sweet fruit accents and a dry finish. Unexciting. 090709 yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 24, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a fully gone head. Orange fruity hops aroma. Sweet flavoured, light fruity note at first followed by a more solid and bitter hops base. Good sweet malt base into the far finish. ratman197 (3137), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 12, 2009 Bomber poured a clear gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, lemon and earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, lemon and earthiness with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 9, 2009 Draft at the brewery. OK, so here’s the deal with every beer I had here: buttery. Adjust the color and basic flavor component to match the beer otherwise, and that pretty much wraps it up. This was the best they had to offer and not bad at all. Standard American interpretation of an IPA, light, crisp, citrusy. No evidence of the 7.5%. I can drink this one. (#3584, June 2009) danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Jun 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a extra pale gold with a big white head. Nose is cheap grain. Light pale malts, some other grain I can put my finger on. A pour IPA IMHO. Ramenen (453), San Salvador, El Salvador May 21, 2009 Thanks to ghawener. More like a Pale Ale. A bit weak for my taste, lacks the great hoppy taste, and bitterness a good IPA should have. At least that is my opinion.
