It is a clear ruby red, with a firm, lasting head. There is a high degree of bitterness to start, yet this mellows to a smooth, sweet and crisp finish. The predominant flavours are apple and cinnamon. This is possibly the best beer I have had. Quintessential Dunkelweizen. Nice blume (head), rich color, and of course signature banana clove yeast strain. Could use a slightly higher alcohol level (5.4, say?) to fit the style better. Bonus points for being served in brewer’s weizen spiraled glass with festive natives dancing and toasting to health. jbrus (4895), Delft, Netherlands

Poured a cloudy light brown with a full fluffy off white head. Moderate yeast aroma with banana and clove. Flavor is exactly as it should be- full of yeast, banana, and spice. Lightly sweet. Medium body. Vey drinkable and very nice. 666seth (219), California, USA
