Dec 3, 2006 Can. Dark colour with a nice average lasting off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, hops and some coffee. The flavor is sweet with roasted malts, coffee, little chocolate ending with some bitter hoppiness. Good brew.

Nov 8, 2003 Clear near black liquid with a head that id fizzy and tan. Dry dark malt and tar flavors. A bit thin in feel, a bit to fizzy perhaps. Just a dark lager at best.

Oct 3, 2002 Had this on tap. Maybe different than the Sapporo Black listed as mine was called Sapporo Dark. Decent beer with a slightly sourish taste to it. Quite bubbly. Decent but nothing to brag about.
