Bottle, 4.7%. As Sapporo Premium Lager. Golden colour, small white head. Grainy flavour. Medium bitterness. Standard lager, no worse than most others.

Golden colour with a steady white head. Quite some taste to it, despite my initial scepticism. A nice hoppy feel and still quite malty taste.

Tin, 500ml in a Chinese Restaurant in York. Yellow gold with fizzed white head. Firstly its great to seek out an unexpected rating, it takes the edge off even bad beer, and this is bad. Corny with wet cardboard notes, super cold to cut through the hot spices. Time and place I suppose.

Can: Sapporo classic, kurashitsuku, seems good. Some light malt and hop in the nose, very light malt and alcohol in the flavor and finish. Seems basic enough, can’t hold the freshness for me. Meh.

Golden lager with a thick white head. A crisp malt aroma with grainy notes and German hops. In mouth, a light biscuitty malt with german hops, a bit oily in mouthfeel. Medium bodied. 500 mL can fshared rom probstk, May 26 2009.

canned. pale golden, fizzy, faint apple tang but otherwise pretty indiscernible from their other 5% lager offerings

Can. Not much aroma. Pale yellow, collapsing head. Actually ok mouthfeel, sparkly and chewy, grassy hops on straw malt. Quite ok.

wasn't sure what to expect from this. pleasantly surprised. very crisp beer. reminded me of budweiser without the nasty aftertaste. it starts out bitter on the tongue then fades out nicely. went well with dinner.
