Can is not like the one pictured, it is gold. Beer pours very very pale yellow gold. The nose is really sweet... reminiscent of wne gums and rich gewurtztraminer, once you get past the decidedly "fruity fart" impression up front. In the mouth it is unbelievably thin, like the aforementioned sweet wine has been mixed 1:3 with carbonated water. But it is tidy, interesting and very refreshing. Strangely tastes like it has a big fruity hop character in behind but there is no bitterness - just a watery carbonic cleansing character. Lots of overall points because this is a quite amazing beer - and so very japanese (if this beer was a movie, it’d be a fucking flying castle folks, very odd). Tastes like it is 2%. lasonovich (151), Australia

A reasonably pale colour and a lack of taste leave it without an imposing presence. Still it is a clean crisp taste and quite easy to drink so it isn’t too bad. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 22, 2004 A clear gold with a fizzy, short-lived, white head. A mild sweet floral aroma. Tangy and crisp with citrus and cigar tobacco flavors. Clean finish. An easy drinking brew and a notch above the typical Japanese macro. Frank (1068), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Wait... That’s not really funny.
This stuff is actually pretty decent. It seems more similar to American macros than most Japanese macros which are somewhat more Pilsener-like and bitter. faroeviking (6120), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 25, 2007 A can from a 7-11 in Kyoto. Pale yellow, fizzy appearance. Palate a lot like a 7-up. In fact, this whole beer experience was something akin to drinking a 7-up. Sweeter than your average J-Macro, and a little tart. Other than the tartness, no trace of hops. Bleh.
