Bubbly light golden liquid with a smallish but stable white head. Sweet, corn and grain aromas. HInts of alcohol, never good in a beer this light. Fresh cut grass, corn silage, white grapes, and floral scents as well. I would have guessed malt liquor. Light sweet malt taken back by a earthy hops bitterness. Has that under attenuated flavors found in many NA beers. Watery flavors throughout. Quite dry in the finish with a dried floral arrangement coming to mind.

12oz bottle at a restaurant poured surprisingly into an appropriate lager glass. Clear yellow with white head. Aroma is all sweet. Flavor is sweet and corn.

Pours clear gold with white head. Smell is smooth grains and lightly grassy hops. Taste is a bit odd with strange honey, cereal sweetness at first follwed by crisp bubbly water. Watery, but still a slightly unpleasant flavor for a pale lager, but drinkable. Wouldn’t recommend or get again though.

Pretty much flavorless, golden and with some bubbles. Nothing special to say about it.

Bottle. Super clear. Taste largely the same as the flagship, sweet and malty with corn, but an added industrial feel. Medium-fullish body, medium carbonation. Boring and aftertasteless, man, I can’t imagine drinking this close to room temperature.

Sampled on 4/6/2009. This Pale Lager/light lager pours a medium yellow gd color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head, no much retention or lacing. The aroma is grain and cereal, touch of hops. A light to medium bodied light beer. The malts are cereal and grainy. The hops are slightly spicy. It’s a fizzy yellow light beer. Lively carbonation. Kind of mild and nothing really offensive. Not much flavor either. Of course I am going to finish drinking it before it warms up too much more. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Even with sushi this beer would suck. Regular sapporo is ok in Japanese restaurants..but this isn’t good. Yellow pour, white head. Benign aroma of corn, malt, and maybe a touch of weak hops. Flavor is watery, grainy and not worth drinking ever again.

Appearance: Pours a clear, yellow body with steady streams of bubbles and a thin, white head. Smell: Faint, light pale malt aroma with a hint of cereal sweetness to it. Taste: Light pale malts, lightly sweet. A touch of cleansing bitterness. Then gone. And that’s all she wrote! Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: There’s not much there, obviously, but what is there isn’t altogether terrible. I’ll go bland and inoffensive over icky and sickening any damn day of the week.
