My vague memory of this is that I had once found it a pleasant beer. Now that it is brewed every where but Japan I don’t feel the same way. Poured a piss yellow with a grassy nose. Flavor?? What flavor, maybe at the very end some malt was evident. Disappointing at best. Cole (311), , Alberta, Canada

Catching up on some of the beers I drank in the past - this is one of those crappy beers that I try to avoid these days. This one I remember getting primarily for the can collection. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 20, 2009 650 mL Can with a shape like a Coca-Cola bottle with the top part cut off. This one is labeled "Premium Beer" so I assume this is the right place. Pale straw yellow with a thin but foamy white head that quickly settles to a scanty ring but leaving good lace. Aroma is predominantly bread dough with a note of rice adjunct, and the hops coming through as pleasantly pungent, not skunky. The flavor is a light-bodied beer with a dry but mildly bitter taste and a very clean finish. A delightful surprise from the Far East, my curiosity for Japanese beers has been piqued.
