Feb 22, 2009 22oz bottle with sushi. Thank God the sushi was good. One was a spicy-ahi roll with shitake mushrooms and the other was tempora shrimp roll wrapped with assorted fish. Budweiser would have been better. Almost a drainpour.

Feb 19, 2009 5% 650ml can from Sapporo/Sleeman Brewery Guelph Canada. Poured Clear straw coloured with thin white head. Moderate corn aroma. Watery mouthfeel, medium carbonation, light astringent finish. I expected more. No better or worse than any macrobrew.

Feb 14, 2009 65 cl can. Pours golden with small head. Malty aroma, a tiny bit skunky quite discrete aroma overall. Taste is nice, malt and a bit of lemon. A bit bitter in the finish. Quite drinkable. Should be better for the price. Rating #20 140209

Feb 7, 2009 aroma of spicy hops. nice balanced malt and bitter flavor. For a pale lager its not to bad at all. less stinky and more refreshing than I thought.

Feb 6, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased at the local grocery store. Poured a clear gold color with a thin white head. The aroma was mainly floral. The flavor was malty and grassy. This is my favorite beer to pair with sushi.

Feb 3, 2009 Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of malt and slight hops with the typical cheap pale lager skunky taste. Fine to have one at a Japanese Restaurant when there isn’t much else to choose from - but certainly wouldn’t pick this beer if there were other more solid offerings.
