Sweet grass nose, very pale, oats, slight corn but not in the Budweiser sense. Very clean grassy flavor, dull to moderate sweetness. This always struck me as very very clean and crisp. Body and mouthfeel are fairly average. Very clean finish, slight grassy malts, semi-sweet, clean clean clean. Jmichael (633), Asheville, North Carolina, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2008 From a can. This beer seems a little underrated here. Pours a bright yellow, with substantial head, but wasn’t over carbonated. Light hops and malt flavor reasonably balanced. In the tradition of Japanese food, this beer is more about balance and nuance. Goes well with
Japanese food. It’s really not meant to be drinking by itself. Derek881 (502), Frederick, Maryland, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Tried this beer from the bottle, have had it a few times before, but first time rating it. Fairly mild aroma, mostly grainy and herbal hops, but no strongly discernible character. Not a particularly interesting appearance; a typical gold color with a smaller-sized, white head. Decent flavor, mostly sour and bitter, almost no sweetness to mention. Wetter body, lighter on carbonation and not a particularly full mouthfeel. It’s a bit better than the average mass-distributed beer, but far from exceptional. 184601 (144), Mexicali, Mexico

The aroma has some barley present, almost sweet by the way and slightly floral hops, the body is golden yellow, pours a quite big head at first which dissapears slowly, the flavor its typical pale-lager refrshiing, the carbonation its nicely balanced, the palate felt great for a Pale-Lager sticky but not thick oily but not too much, in other words great. Overall i think its amazingly crafted, all Pale-Lager should be this elaborated.Like an American which was at Wal-Mart in my mexican hometown said: Ahhh Sapporo.......good beer!!! dogfish120love (286), west hartford, Connecticut, USA
