Bottle poured into lager glass- poured thin golden yellow, head never formed, medium carbonation, aroma of weak malt and old rice. Hits the mouth with a thin watery body, some malt and hops, finish fades away.

Had recently in can packaging. It was very good with a distinctive palate, and nice flavor, smooth and doesn’t wear thin. A distinct palate that must be fresh to be appreciated, it goes stale and ruins the beer. Also great with food, sushi. I used to be a Tsingtao fan, but Sapporo has a fuller flavor.

Better than the American macros. Not much more to say. A light body and light watery taste but drinkable.

THOUGHTS: Not great, but better than most imported pale lagers. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light yellow with a small, white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was light grain and caramel malt. The initial flavor was lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic and slightly sour, while the finish was moderately sweet, lightly acidic and bitter, and sour with an average duration. The flavor was light caramel and grain malt with grassy hops. The light body was watery with lightly fizzy carbonation and a light to moderate astringent finish.

Poured yellow with white fizzy head. Aroma of corn. Corn flavor with alcohol finish. Just getting this one out of the way.

Pours a very clear straw gold color. A fizzy white head. Very mild sweet smell with just a hint of bitterness. The run of the mill pale lager taste. Has a little more flavor than some of the American versions and does cool nicely when you are eating a spicy maki.
