Aroma: to wheat, slight citric-fruits smells, reminiscences to honey.
Flavor: wheat mainly, blond sugar and slight sourness. Fruitiness like pineapple. Very slight hoppyness. Wheat aftertaste.
Palate: light body and watery texture. Medium carbonation.
Mediocre, disappointment. llcooldave (337), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 10, 2007 Light golden color. Not much aroma. Flavor is rather watered down but does have a light hops taste. I guess this is OK for those that think Bud or Miller is the pinnacle of brewing. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 9, 2007 Bottle. Very light blonde pour with a vibrant white head. Faint dry and bitter aroma with a slight hop note. Dry and mildly bitter. Very mild overall. Finish is slightly bitter. Although horrible when drank by itself, this would probably be good with asian cuisine or something spicy. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Pours a fizzy yellow. Awful nose of corn. Sweet corn malt and fizzy hops. Prototypical pale lager. I only enjoy this if I’m at Benihanna’s Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2007 0.33 l bottle, as Sapporo Premium Lager (brewed by Diageo). Poured pale golden body with medium smaller head which was very durable for a lager. Quite malty aroma, sweetish, maybe some flower hops. Not too skunky with those malts, but could also be less of it. Flavor not bad, but pretty empty, just a hint of bitterness. Finish pleasant but short. Quite fine for a pale lager all in all, and beats many others. Don’t know about genuine Japanese version, but better Diageo change recipe for Harp into this as it is fairly superior. 17thfloor (1499), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 24, 2007 A pale golden color, lots of big bubbles and a thin white head. Smells like macro... sour malt and alcohol. Not much in the way of flavor... somewhat sweet finish. Light palate with big bubbles. Typical asian. imdownthepub (5171), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
