Light flavor, no sulphur or skunkiness, which earns it a few points. A little cereal and corn adjunct. A tiny bit of sourness and bitterness in the aftertaste. Some alcohol in the flavor, which is also good. Pretty nicely balanced for a macro brew pale lager from Asia. Blackbarrel (116), new york, New York, USA

Smooth as silk, clean as hell goin down. Better, no doubt, than any macrobrew lager in the US. Why can’t we just get it right here. Hats off to the Japanese for a great beer to down, chug, or just hang out with your buds with MrBunn (1536), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 22, 2006 12 oz bottle. Aromas are grainy and have a little bit of a fruit/sweet note to them. Pour is pretty boring. Gold color with a lot of bubbles and a head that dies down fairly quickly. Flavor is great for a run of the mill lager. Very crisp and clean. A bit of a grassy hops flavoring in the finish. beatles12 (3), USA does not count | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 22, 2006 First thing that comes to mind is clean finish...and that is it. This beer is basically average on every scale except for the fact that it leaves virtually no aftertaste what so ever. If you are in the mood to pound beers, this ain’t a bad choice. larsga (2969), Oslo, Norway
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 20, 2006 Small white head; copper body with a little bit of carbonation. Clean, slightly acidic aroma with notes of apple. Taste is light and clean, mostly caramel and marzipan with apple notes and a touch of grass. Slightly dry grassy and faintly metallic aftertaste. Light and refreshing to drink. A perfectly decent lager. (0.33l bottle.) TheGrandMaster (1862), Auckland, New Zealand
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 14, 2006 Can, dark golden colour with plenty of carbonation and a large frothy head. A grassy hop aroma that is not strong, but slightly metallic. A very light mouthfeel, not too much carbonation in the mouth. Grassy flavours and not too dry in the finish. Agree, not as offensive as your typical macro lager. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
