FishManLA (149), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA May 3, 2008 About as pale yellow as pale lagers get. Fizzy 7up like head that dissipates within seconds. Fairly nice nose for a pale lager with notes of wheat, yeast, and grass. Hop and malt apparent in the taste which has a nice little hoppy snap to it. As is usual with pale lagers, there’s no finish.
ndfreak77 (70), USA Jul 13, 2008 poured from the 22 oz can a yellow color. Very smooth and refreshing but quite pricey for 22 oz of beer. carruthm (306), USA Jul 13, 2008 standard japanese pale lager. gold clear color, light head, small malty aroma, okay taste BlackMail (55), Evergreen, Colorado, USA Jul 12, 2008 Poured yellow with little head. Has a crisp taste, but not much on the flavor side. djones (52), Michigan, USA Jul 6, 2008 Golden straw color. Smooth, light bodied, and crisp finish. Certainly has its own flavor different from most pale lagers. Beats most macro pale lagers. A little watery, but there are some sweet and bitter flavors going on. JonR888710 (1000), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jul 3, 2008 Purchased this massive silver can at the ABC shop in Waikiki, HI, where I later drank this on the beach with some saki. Pours a gleaming gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is rice, corn and barley. Very fresh hearty aroma. Taste is equally fresh, balanced with rice and corn malts. This is not a great beer, but among lagers, at least it has its own feel, distinct.
