Given as a gift to me, was so sure I had tasted that one... but no. Brewed under license by some unknown brewery in the EU. Quite mild aroma of some malt and little flowery hoppiness. Mild bitterness in the flavour along with a mild malty sweetness and a mild flowery hoppiness. Crisp weak beer, serves good as a thirst quencher. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Bottle from Jumbo, Faro. Pale gold with a course bubbled collapsing head. Sweet aroma of hay, white sugar, honeyed toasted cereals, the back of stamps. Sugar slickness and discreet fizz with watery apple, hay and spruce. Quite clipped and clean; no obvious adjuncts, slightly nutty, bready. Some faint German/Czech influence. Lean, inoffensive and dull. AndyReynolds (283), Wilder, Kentucky, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Can. Pours a nice gold with a thick white head. Aroma is a bit skunky with hops and sweet malts standing out. Notes of different herbs, possibly basil, stand out. On the palate it is watered down with an alright amount of carbonation. The flavor brings out the skunkiness, finishing crisp and a bit dry. It leaves a weird after taste. I was a little surprised by how refreshing this beer was, however, it is not as full of flavor as I like my beer.
