Rerate - had in the big 650 ml bottle - rare find at the local pub - not quite as good - very corny, mineral water aroma, pasty, corny mouthfeel. . Much better in the can. Original 3.1 Big 650 ml can - pleasantly surprised - does not excel in any one area - but all around very drinkable. Fluffy white head with good lacing that sticks around a while, dark yellow, slightly murky appearance - good bubble action. Fresh, slightly fruity aroma, like a muted APA. Slightly hoppy and fruity flavor with a pleasant mouthfeel. Has a bit of honey sweetness to it as well. Not as dry as most Japanese beers. Probably the best of the few Japanese beers I have had to date.

Bottle pours dark straw with a minor fizzy white head.   Carbonation is light, lacing seems good.   Aroma is of malts and unsweetened pears.   Taste is much the same.   Sweet finish, crisp, definately a light, easy to drink lager.   Slight hop bitterness in the aftertaste.   I've always had a soft spot for Japanese lagers for some reason, being some of the first beers I got into.

Pours a clear golden color with a attractive medium sized bright white head. Aroma is not too bad actually, nice malty flower smells. Flavor is nothing assertive and is somewhat pleasant with a very clean sweetness with a slight hop finish. Thin body. A decent lager.

The japanese brews are not bad, they go great with the food. the flavor is not strong. this one has a little more going on on the back end than some of its counterparts.

Clear, straw-colored lager with a medium-sized, fizzy, white head. Malty, floral aroma. Thin flavor. Light-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Boring.

Clear pale yellow with a huge rocky white head. Sweet malts with a touch of plastic in the nose. Sweet corny taste, watery texture. Stale ending. This could be worse.

Clear gold pour, smallish head. Aroma is typical macro-lagerish, adjunct laden flavor, overcarbonated.
