Can. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of straw and caramel, and so is the flavor.

(Can 50 cl) Courtesy of nicolascage. Clear, reddish brown with a dense, light brown head. Lightly burned, malty aroma. Light in body with sweet accents of hard roasted malts that also leave some malt astringency. 191207

Near black - dark brown highlights. Thin, coffee aroma with metallic undertones. Palate has dark chocolate, some malty sweetness and cappucino notes. If it’s too cold, the sweetness will be most expressive but the coffee/chocolate comes more to the fore as it warms. Body is a little thin and fizzy but again feels a little thicker as it warms a bit and the carbo burns itself out. That said, the malts are a little weak overall. The finish is liquoricey, with hints of chocolate.

Can
Almost opaque black, small "coca cola head". Strong roasted malty coffee beans aroma. Light bodied. Chocolaty, roasted with late bitterness in the aftertaste. Not outstanding, but drinkable "porter" (or schwarzbier).

Can, bought on Amsterdam airport for a rediculous amount of money. Deep dark brown color. Caramel, roast and dark chocolate in the aroma and flavor. Malt is prominant in the finish. Remarkably good beer, almost worth the money.

Bottle. Clear black colour. Bit sweetish aroma of malt. Flavour is smooth and somewhat bitter-sweet with roasted malts. Thin mouthfeel. I prefer the normal Yebisu. Tasted again on Oct. 5th. Good to taste this again. It is more sweet than I recall but still good.
