| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2005 Can. Golden, minimal ghost of a head across the top. Sweet melon and mandarin aroma. Sweet melon flavour balances the harshness of the hops. Not a bad canned beer for the park. Saarlander (1579), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

I’d drink it again, with sushi! DuffMan (2768), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Golden colour with thin head. Malty bready aroma. Very flat on the palate. Neither offensive nor exciting (I definitely couldn’t pick out any of the undertones of flavour that some of the other raters have!) ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Tasted this one after returning home on compo from a workplace accident. Probably should have went with something a little stronger, but this seemed a good starter and I was quite impressed with their Black beer. Pours a clear honey gold with a thin lather of white bubbles formed by the irregular carbonation. Grainy and bitter aroma, quite dry with a zest of fruity esters like navel oranges and grapefruit. A lot of citrus in the mouth, thin bodied and quite crisp in carbonation. Very clean, light mouth feel, bitter in the back, more a tang than grassy, and finishes off with a long clean citric swallow. Judging by most of the ratings this is not one that is universally the same. The sample I tasted, though, was quite a refreshing light lager that would be a great summer quaffer. Certainly better than most Japanese Lagers. SJP (483), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Not good at all, but not really bad, at least as judged by my palate that has been wasting away in China. jtxx (141), san antonio, Texas, USA

It stinked and tasted worse than the smell. My wife was amazed as she watched me pour it down the drain. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
