Misleading name on the label. A bright gold and slight red color. A thin white head. The aroma is sweet with ginger and some cherries. The tastes are drier. Notes of raisins, black pepper and some woody freshness.Really, a pretty good lawnmower beer.

clear bright golden colour, almost no foam, corny aroma, oily with a robust malt body, dry and tart slightly bitter finish - unspectacular

Hello Bruce....make me another Unagi...Good beer to wash down sushi. seems to stand up to the strong fish and salty sauces really well. But nothing extraordinary on it’s own. I understand that their brews on tap in their tasting rooms are altogether different. Someday...Sapporo!

Kuala Lumpur: The description of this suggests a beer brewed according to the Rheinheitsgebot. It does have a typical Euro flavour and more body than most of the Asian lagers around here. Good value at about $2 a can, in these parts anyway.

A golden beer with an OK, but disappearing white head. The aroma is malty sweet and so is the flavor, that also contains an OK hoppy bitter end.

The only place I could get this in my area is the Sesame Inn (Bruce & Betty are good folk), but they had to drop it since my buddy RAYBOY01 & I were the only two to order it as we glombed down on sushi. Deep yellow color, highly carbonated, but with a whispy, disappearing head. Clean taste. Nothing special, but goes well with the food.

Blond beer. Nothing special, but well balanced. Refreshing and acceptable.

Yeeeeeeebisuuuuu!!!! Hmmmm. Tasted in Toronto. Obtained as gift from the far east. Tasted in dimple mug. Pours black, very small light head, tan colour. Aroma is of grain, malt with a slight sour/sweetness. Taste is fairly muted and watery. Has a somewhat buttery mouthfeel, oily. What I can pick up is a noteworthy image of Yeeeebiiisuuuuu!!!!!!
