Cask @ Devonshire Arms, South Normanton. Seems to be a regular house beer. Not really a Mild (not at 6%) more like an Old Dark Ale. Nevertheless it’s very drinkable, fruity, berry nose with a full body.

Comments: Ah, finally I get to try this classic amongst milds, albeit strong. And it is not bad, an honest toasty, lightly roasty example with a nice sweet choco kiss and fair cereal notes.

Cask (Peterborough BF 2007) Sweet amber smell (did I really write that?) Rich dark red. Spicy malty taste. Sweet and quite powerful. A little alcoholic. Nutty.

Cask conditioned at The Three Judges, Glasgow, as "Sarah Hughes Ruby Ale" - I presume this is the same beer? Very dark ruby colour, creamy head. Moderate malty aroma with caramel. The flavour is very malty and sweet with loads of caramel, slightly roasty. Decent hops in the finish. Not easy drinking, but nice.
