Cask gravity at St Albans BF 09. Clear gold, thin off white head. Diacetyl aroma. Butter in mouth. Bit hard, like quite a few of the beers here. Like hard butterscotch sweets. Diacetyl just kills it. Grassy hop finish.

Cask in Blackfriars. Aroma is Pale and sweeter malts, grassy peppery hop. Taste is similar, the house yeast is key here and i just realed with this beer what it is, a slightly roasty burnt character it adds to the beer, which is fine with the dark ruby however distorts the lighter beers a bit.

Draught at Beacon Hotel (Brewery Tap) Sedgley. Sl Orange, brown. Sharp musty flavours abound, sweaty and cheap. Not well balanced or over enjoyable.

This beer is, indeed, pale amber in colour. Some hops, some sweetish malt, but nothing really stood out to grab the attention. No great bitterness. An easy drinking, middle of the road bitter. Cask (gravity dispense), Ipswich Beer Festival.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults Leicester. A crystal clear pale amber coloured bitter. The aroma is thin and unexciting. The taste is clean and crisp with notes of apples and very bitter lemons. OK but not much going on.

Cask at Cloisters edinburgh ... Golden orange ...honey hop nose ... light sweet mellow fruit with a grassy back bone... quite dry in linger.

Draught at Beacon Hotel (Brewery Tap) Sedgley. Metallic yellow, thin topping of froth. Slight malt aroma. Rather less flavoursome than the other beer sampled at the Beacon. Flat malt flavour sneaking towards cardboard. Average, though smooth.
