Cask Conditioned & on hand pump at the Derby CAMRA beer festival on 09/02/05. Light amber brown colour. Dry, hoppy, a good solid bitter. Got a bit thick on the palate after a few. (I know this as I chose this one to fill up my carry keg with :)

Cask in Blackfriars. Aroma is Pale and sweeter malts, grassy peppery hop. Taste is similar, the house yeast is key here and i just realed with this beer what it is, a slightly roasty burnt character it adds to the beer, which is fine with the dark ruby however distorts the lighter beers a bit.

This beer is, indeed, pale amber in colour. Some hops, some sweetish malt, but nothing really stood out to grab the attention. No great bitterness. An easy drinking, middle of the road bitter. Cask (gravity dispense), Ipswich Beer Festival.

Cask (handpull) at Derby Winter Beer Festival 2005. Hmmmm - Clean and clear looking, just a hint of woodiness, bit like pine dust, plain and simple beer.

Cask - Planet Thanet Beer Festival ’09. Dark golden yellow/orange with a fine white head. Sweet honey and hoppy spiciness/grassiness combination of aromas. More of the same in terms of flavour. A relatively mild lingering bitterness with a smooth and crisp texture.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults Leicester. A crystal clear pale amber coloured bitter. The aroma is thin and unexciting. The taste is clean and crisp with notes of apples and very bitter lemons. OK but not much going on.
