Cask Conditioned & on hand pump at the Derby CAMRA beer festival on 10/02/05. Mid amber rown colour. A strong yet supprisingly drinkable beer. Bit barley wine like I thought.

A Mes rate. Gravicask at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. Darkish golden brown with no head. Burnt candy sugar, plenty of rich malt, slight creamy alcohol and plenty of berry fruits. Very slight plastic notes but it’s no spoiler. Rich and warming malt and alcohol finish. Good length. A solid barley wine.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2007. Copper/orange colour with bubbly off white head. Rather nice vanilla flavour. Big and syrupy beer. Nice heat on end. I really like it. Good malty aroma, nice vanilla/peach flavour. Some hop on finish.

Feb, 2007 Dover Beer Fest 2007. Clean, sweet strong pale ale which manages to hold together well. Nutty and delicious. Mmmm. Buttery smooth and peanutty. [3.5]
Feb 2009 Dover Beer Fest. I found this rather sugary sweet at the festival and scored it 3.5 I bottled some and brought it home where I find it soft and smooth with a hint of alcohol warmth on the swallow. There is some cereal sweetness, but not over-bearing or unpleasant. Nice. [3.5]

Cask (handpulled) at Derby Winter Beer Festival 2005. Big syrup, rough at the edges, can’t take any more eight percenters, palate now gone, need to sleep...

Cask@Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Amber beer with a malty and hopped aroma. The flavour is vinous and malty. Overall a reasonable vinous and sweet beer
