Commercial Description:
Wholesome, delicious and refreshing. What more can you say about a beer brewed with generous amounts of American Wheat Malt. In keeping with the tradition of Dunkel Weizen, we’ve used a sweet addition of Cara and roast malts to add to the interest. Unfiltered so You’ll experience the beer as wheat beers are meant to be enjoyed

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Fairly easy to drink. I would agree that this is a dunkelweizen even though it is pretty different. Pours a dark amber with some head that disappear quickly and a lot of lacing. The dominant taste is malty dark wheat and is a little sour. Not a real complex pour, but not too hard to drink either.

Shitty hay aroma and mushrooms. Cloudy ochre, medium white head. Sour cracked wheat flavor with vanilla undertones. Harsh mouthfeel, very fizzy. It tastes better warm, but still not very good. Not particularly well done. More amber than wheat.

(bottle - 12 oz) Murky brown color with a fizzy tan head. Aroma is mildly roasty with some caramel and wheat hints. Slight vegetable notes. Sweet malts and some nuts at the beginning with a dry and grainy middle and a very weak and watery finish.

Orangish amber with a large white head that is mostly diminishing. Husky wheat nose with light orange citrus. Mildly grainy flavor, some sweet fruity (grape?) notes intermixed with light malt, toffee, nuts and copper pennies. Very lightly carbonated.

Poured a copper brown color with a nice sized off white head. Smelled and tasted almost like a porter, however not as heavy on the palate. Had a lot of coffee and caramel notes in the taste that made it like a porter, however had a slightly bitter/hoppy aftertaste (unlike a porter). I liked this beer from the first sip to the last.
