Off white, about 4 fingers thick and very sudsy. Leaves some impressive lcobweb acing as well. Good looking beer. Nose of soapy hops, citrus fruits, grass, pine and sweet caramel malts. Everything is a little muted compared to the best examples of the style, however. What is there is nice, and this beer has no noticeable flaws in the aroma department. Fore is fairly sweet with the caramel malts and citrus sweetness. Middle to back picks up a decent amount of bitterness and pine, along with some soapy hints. Finish is bitter, pine, citrus and malts. Lengthy. Medium bodied, could be a bit more oily for the style, but that’s a minor nitpick. This one is a bit underrated in my view, easy to drink and nothing glaring as far as flaws go.

A little caramel and fruits like citrus. The taste is fruity with bitter and hints of sweet. The aftertaste is sweet moving over to bitter. jjuf1853 (480), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 30, 2009 This IPA poured a clear golden colour with a pretty good, bright white head. Scents include spruce, floral hopps and citrus. Smells like a hoppy one. First swig is smooth and has a mellow hopp bite to it. Very nice. I’m suprized this one isn’t rated higher. Flavours of lemon citrus, juniper and honey are at the forefront. Slight hoppy bitterness until the end. goozen (1088), Leiden, Netherlands
