Kinda of too much: spice, burnt hops, sour. I know that some love this seasonal offering from an other wise note-worthy brewery, but not me.

Lactic sourness, burnt umber and obviously filtered color. Unsatisfying at best: the taste is totally off and the aroma is near non-existant.

A brown, cloudy brew with a light tan, bubbly head. It has a clean, hoppy flavor that dominates the malt. Rather full bodied for a lager. The aftertaste, like the head quickly faded.

Bottled. This is a very fine lager, definate nutty flavor coming through. Finished slightly bitter. Color is dark, and pours with a medium head which disappears in a few minutes. It’s too bad this isn’t around all the time, so get it while you can, it’s worth it.

The aroma is nutty with some fruity background. The color is a reddish brown with a tan head and lacing. Initially the flavor is malty sweet but quickly establishes a nuttiness and a slightly bitter finish.

Dark reddish-brown with a tan head. Aroma was malty sweet with some nuttiness. Strong malt flavors coupled with some sugary sweetness and moderate hoppy bitterness. Long, slightly dry finish and no aftertaste. Pretty good stuff.

Deep Amber color, off-white head disappears rather quickly. Bottle says "full-bodied taste" I can’t agree with the label. Overall an okay beer, but don’t go out of your way for it.

Ehhh, not very aromatic. A bit bitter. Nice amber color. Somewhat has various flavors, one definitely being a bit nutty
