Has a nice hoppy nutty aroma to it. Pours brown with white head. It has a very rich nutty taste with a good kick of hops. Very nice seasonal.

Copper color, with a white head. Aromas of hops and malt. Flavor starts out with sweet malt and some fruit. It turns a little bitter at the end. Body is a little too light.

Pours a light translucent brown with some fizzy white head. Slightly sweet aroma, but little in way of complexity or depth. Very nice nutty sweet flavor. Starts sweet, then becomes bitter finish. Very drinkable taste. Overall, pretty good.

Reddish-brown body, medium light-tan head, slightly sweet malty nose. Nutty, medium sweet, slight sourness, some bitterness in the finish.

Bottle. Classic Sampler 12 pack. I discovered completely by accident that this beer tastes much better barely cool than ice cold. Color and flavor notes reminiscent of roasted chestnuts. Medium, somewhat creamy body. Not much head. Hoppiness develops after a few sips, but a sour note keeps it from being all it could be. BUY AGAIN?: OK; as part of the sampler.

From the Saranac 12 classic beer styles sampler pack. Nice brown color, head small but decent. A little on the thin side (all the saranacs are), but has enough nutty flavor to redeem itself

Got this in a 12 bottle variety pack - pick it up if you see it, every beer is decent and pretty inexpensive. The Season’s Best NBA had a tiny off-white head, but has a nice rich brown color. Hoppy, with a bit of sourness at first. After a few sips though, this brew develops character and layers of spicy nut.
