Decent head but does not last too long. Excellent lacing. Aroma of roasted nuts, malt and a touch of spice. Color is a dark orange/brown. Flavor is crisp with a good helping of hops and malt. Finish is dry and slightly bitter with a slight hops presence. A decent beer but nothing special.

Really liked this beer. Smells sweet and nutty. Nice hop balance. Think I'll have another.

A really great looking, auburn appearance. Decent sized head. It wasn't anything special once it hit my mouth but it was satisfying. All around a pretty solid beer.

Some light caramel and faint nut in the aroma. Medium copper-brown color, with a lasting, creamy head and pretty good lacing. Light on flavor, again nutty with suggestions of caramel sweetness, perhaps some extremely vague herbal hop flavors towards the finish. Smooth, creamy palate and light-medium body. A little dull considering its unusual style.

Off white head--small. Slightly nutty and malty aroma. Moderate body, slight malt flavor. A little syrup-like, but fairly good.

Clear bronze appearance with a nice head. Aroma was non-descript. Well hopped flavor with an earthy, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Clean, dry finish.

Fine for what it is... a mediocre brown ale, without the complexities of true winter brews.
