Nov. 16, 2009; 12 oz. bottle. Hazy gold; faint aroma (what is detectable is pleasant); refreshing citrus taste & tingle. One-dimensional, but not as bad as I was afraid this could be.

12 oz bottle given to me by beastiefan2k. Pour is a hazy, somewhat cloudy orange amber with a 1/2 inch dirty white head that falls quickly. Aroma of soft apricot fruit sweetness with a nice gentle bready maltiness. A touch of floral perfume. Taste is mostly floral sweetness, more honey sweetness than the apricot of the nose. The sweetness is also a bit artificial tasting, doesn’t have the softness of the nose. The apricot comes out a bit in the finish. Palate is medium to thin, lowish carbonation, quick and clean finish. Pours light caramel color with white head. Aroma of lemon, corriander and wheat. Similar flavors. Medium body with light carbonation.

Bottled, courtesy Narnad. Dark golden amber with virtually no head. Floral, perfumy peach nose with some lilac - rather interesting. Flavor is sweet, heavy wheat and cookie malts, highly fruity with subtle pepper. Lemon finish. Rather thin palate is my only real complaint, other wise I found this quite solid and very refreshing.

I thought this was a good summer beer with a lemony taste and malt aroma. A good training wheels beer for someone starting to get adventuresome with their beers. Tastes a little like malty lemonade to me.
