| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2008 Pours clear deep gold with off white head. Odd looking beer for an amber. The aroma is roasty malts, 90L crystal malts and some really faint caramel. The taste is nice and amber-like with rich roasty malts, a little bit of malt astringency mixing with more lightly roasted malts. All this maltiness slowly turns into Munich grainy type malts along with mild pine hoppiness and faint floral hops as the finish approaches. The hop bitterness does grow some into the finish and lingers around with sweet and roasted maltiness. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
