duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Apr 15, 2008 Bottle. Bacony sort of flavour, quite sweet, with a thin mouth feel, and also quite crisp. It is fairly smoky, but because the body is quite thin, it seems to take away from the overall enjoyment of the beer.
omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 10, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy brownish amber, smal creamy head. Very vague smokey nose. Medium sweet with rounded but not soft mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A bit undeveloped and too vague flavours. Geiserich (1530), Vienna, Austria May 24, 2008 Bottled: Fresh malt aroma, light fruity notes and burnt cookies. Off white head. Flavor is malty with light sweetness and hints of caramel followed by roasted malt and hop bitterness. Only light smoked. Nothing special but o.k. drinkable. turbothy (588), Nørrebronx, Denmark Jul 29, 2007 ½L bottle bought @ Landbierparadies, Nürnberg. Pours dark copper with no head. Nice, subtle smoky aroma and a more pronounced smoky flavour. Pleasant. downender (1510), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 29, 2007 Bottle from Der Treffpunkt, Nurnberg HBF. Copper coloured with a slight white head. Aroma of smoked, honey drench ham. Flavour was of a more subtle smoke - almost like smoked salmon. A pleasant change.
