5/18/2007: Cloudy yellowish-orange color. The small, foamy head is parchment in color and leaves interesting sculpture-like lacing. This beer is dry-hopped as evidenced by the fresh citrus and grassy hop aroma. Light toffee malt in the flavor along with lots of hops. There is a punch of hops and bitterness up front, but then it smooths out. There is lots of bitterness throughout and it also lingers, but it isn’t a raw, nasty, bitter bite. Medium body with a smooth and slick texture. This IPA packs in the bitterness!
