Very dark brown pour with a rich off-white head floating atop. The nose is dark roasty malts, coffee, and smoke. The palate though seems a touch too thin for the style...just a bit watered-down...I’d like to find it a bit creamier. All in all, pretty decent beer.

Draft at brewpub. Poured dark brown color with an average creamy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium body and smooth texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium roasted sweet finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations.
