| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 12, 2003 Thanks to SDbruboy and DaSilky1! Pours a clouded amber with splashes of orange. Small off-white head. Nose is spice, some earthiness, along with hints of yeast and vanilla. Taste has candy sugar, more vanilla and earth tones, and some alcohol notes. Carbonated bodt with some sharpness to it. Finishes very well with little aftertaste - perhaps some lingering spice. Well done! ***Not a re-rate, but I wanted to add, as this warms, more fruit notes come through with maybe peach or nectarine and more of the spice comes through. NICE BEER!
