| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 9, 2006 Bottle - sicky sweet lemony dishsoap aroma. Looks like a Bud Light. The flavor ... the flavor. What the hell are they thinking? This is just horrible. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 21, 2006 Bottle Pours a straw pale yellow. Hazy and with a nice full white head. Dry faint aroma of leamins and light malts. Flavor was lemony but like gatorade. Thin and light weght. BückDich (4848), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Bottle: Very very pale yellow color, big puffy retentive white head. The nose is a bit tart with some lemon peel and extract sweetness, a touch of ricey notes too. The flavor is a bit odd with some underlying poor lager along with a slightly sweet lemon extract flavor. The finish has a light body and a bit of pleasing lemonade characteristics. Just a bad combination, more like a gimick or an alcopop. smcd (366), USA

| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jan 20, 2006 Sometimes...just sometimes, brews like this are sleepers. I wish I had left this one sleeping. Pured out a violent yellow with thin head. Weird astringent lemon smell like sunlight dish detergent. I eyed the glass with suspicion but went ahead. The body of the beer was glutinous, like...well, sunlight dish detergent. I really don’t want to talk about the taste...but here goes. Whatever part of this beer that was formerly related to a lager has been totally exterminated by the addition of what I think is...yes...sunlight dish detergent...or maybe that no name knockoff of sunlight. I am forced to give this beer a rating higher than all ones simply because I have had beers that actually gag me, instead of just making me wish I could amputate my stomach. Avoid this turkey, unless you need to do the dishes. Cornfield (4944), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

I just had my first Deus earlier today, and now I’m drinking a sorry American Radler. The German & Austrian brews, at least, have tasted like lemonade. This tastes like Lemon Pledge... although I think this probably has more of a chemical finish.
