Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Dark amber colour, thin off white head. Sweetish, nutty flavour with some malt. Fruity hop tinged flavour with butterscotch and caramel notes. A tad watery and lacking in body, but passable.

Cask at GBBF 06. Amber with lasting bubbly cream coloured head. Yeast and some citrus hop aroma. Caramel and toffee with hard water in mouth. Reasonable amount of flavour. Finish has some green hop. This is a tasty bitter.

[Cask at GBBF] Dark amber. Resiny hop aroma. Sweet and light bodied with short rounded mouthfeel. Salty finish with some aromatic, resiny hops.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Amber ale, with a smooth head. Nutty caramel flavour, with a very vanilla bitterness to finish. Rising flavour, good lingering quality. Sweet, but smooth and quaffable, like milkshake. Not a style I usually go a bundle for, but this was a good experience.
