Cask conditioned - handpump - Alexandra Arms Rugby. A black coloured stout with an off-white head and some lacing. The aroma is initially slightly tainted by diacetyl, but then it’s smooths out to have a lactic quality and a malty base. The taste is nice and chocolatey. Some sweet maltiness. A tasty well flavoured stout.
