Pours a nice, lightly hazy ruby-red with a staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, yeast, toffee, light cellar and chocolate. Highish carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, good chocolate, roasted, lightly ozidized and fine dried fruits. Impressively fresh for such an old beer at that ABV.

May 18, 2004 An unclear brown beer with a fine orange collapsing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of spices; coriander and cinnamon. The flavor is just like the aroma combined with some sourness.
