What a solid around larger! Nice clear golden apperence. Looks inviting in the glass and doesn’t dissapoint on the palate. Light subtle fruitness with smooth munich malt taste. Just the thing for a sunday afternoon. Prefer it the the bock as it just a lttle more novel. Wouldnt say it breaks the mold, just a bit surprising. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2004 Draught, at the Australian Hotel, Sydney. Golden with a nice smooth fluffy white head. Feral organic larger aroma with honey and rustic hop notes. Some smooth, lightly roasted malt notes as well. A good drop that I wish I could have had more of but the volume of choice was against me.
