Gravity tap at redlight. Hazy copper color with a good foamy head. Spicy hops, hinted at funky sulfur and grass. Saaz? Nice rounded toasty malts and balanced hop at the finish. Clean, balanced, very easy drinking.

20090919 Cask at Max’s. Dark amber color with sturdy head. Toasty and bready malts with some basic earthiness. Rich and delicious yet clean, quaffable. Slightest lingering sweetness. Lovely stuff.

Gravity pour at Redlight. Pours a reddish brown with thin head. Roasted grain, bready, toffee aroma. Malty sweet body with some fruitiness, bready and toasted grain. Simple with a little compexity, very good session beer.

Gravity cask at Redlight Redlight. Pours a mostly clear, brassy copper hue with a thick, creamy head of ivory foam. Showing excellent retention, the froth sticks around until the very last drop, leaving heaps of sheety lacing all over the glass. Lively carbonation streams screech towards the surface, constantly feeding the billowing head. Aromas are as fresh and clean as they come, showing notes of just-toasted grain, bready yeast, and a light fruity sweetness, all balanced nicely by a soft bouquet of earthy, floral hops. Like the nose, the flavor shows simply incredible balance, fresh toast and unsweet biscuit spiced beautifully with a peppery, floral hop bite. Smooth and creamy, with ample substance, this stuff just glides down the gullet effortlessly. This is balance exemplified. If this is what true German session beer is all about, then sign me up.

Gravity keg at Redlight. Brown/amber. Frothy off white head. Bready, biscuity, toasty malt and an earthy yet clean bitterness from the hops. Medium/light body, balanced carbonation. Very easy to drink. Great dunkel.

Gravity tap at redlight redlight, and no, we did not rate it the same on purpose. This is a very strong session dunkel. It pours a deep amber with a thick white head. The aroma has enough dark matls in it to give it an edge. This beer is crisp on the tongue and refreshing as hell. I’ll probably drink a lot of it, sucka!

gravity tap @ redlight redlight! Rich malty aromas hints of caramel with a musty lager yeast aroma. Pours a hazy dark amber with a huge cotton candy-like head. Solid drinking Dunkel, crisp maltiness with hints of caramel and earthy hops with some grassy notes. Just an all around easy drinking beer very balanced.

Gravity at Zeitgeist Bier Mania Oktoberfest 08. Dark amber with an off white natural lacey head. Very franconian in aroma and taste. A slightlt tart yeasty characture with restrained but fresh hops.
