The aroma is sweet and quite spicy combined with notes of yeast, wood, raisins, citrus, and prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of prunes, wood, and cowberries as well as hints of yeast and alcohol. The mouthfeel is quite carbonated. Medium body with rather sweet roasted malts and notes of both dried and overripe fruit with an almost rum like edge. Very discreet bitterness. Loads of yeast sediment. The aroma is more mature, and with more malt and caramel, than the ordinary Dutch Bok(s). Same for the taste.
