The flavor is very refreshing, I instantly fell in love with this beer. I highly suggest you try one if the opportunity presents itself. KSS (102), Plymouth, Minnesota, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 26, 2005 bottle-well, seing from the ratings, this must have been an old bottle, which actually held up pretty well considering its age. pours brown with a light eggshell head around the edge of the glass. chocolate, earthy/dirty aroma with some malty sweetness and light notes of oxidization (metallic). chocolate and oxidization predominate the flavors. body is fairly round and definately feels like a bock-fairly bold, sweet and well rounded. I will definately revisit this highly rated bock again. Earlier Rating: 9/12/2005 Total Score: 3 bottle-pours turbid deep brown with a small off-white head. chocolate covered cardboard in the aroma with some light nutty notes. significant sweetness as well. flavors are show the chocolate and caramel, but the cardboard is just too much. light hops as well, but not enough to cover up that cardboard. slightly watery on the palate. not great. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 24, 2005 Baby’s Got Bock #100. Wondrous appearance of deep cherry lacquered brown and a creamy, fluffy half inch tan head. Aroma is as expected, unfurling brown sugar, pumpernickel, copper, pepper, unsalted pecans and stale bakers chocolate. Depression onsets immediately at first sip. Loose flavor alludes to watered down caramel lozenges. Steel twang is reminiscent of licking the inside of a Christmas nut tin. Some unsalted pretzel bread flavors in the distance. Loose, watery and thin-bodied. They seemingly forgot to balance this one with anything but caramel malts, as it’s missing the malt personality. Finishes with a laughable sweetness that conjures up associations of a diluted Diet Pepsi. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
