Feb 26, 2008 Draft at Winterfest 2008, St. Paul, MN. Grassy aroma with some malt sweetness evident. Hazy, dark yellow with a large bubble head; a rather uric appearance. Really unique. Hint of sweet biscuit. A little on the flat side. Not bad.

Feb 22, 2008 Winterfest 2008. Grainy nose with malty characteristics. Not bad, but given the name I was hoping to get something more out of the hops than some bitterness.

Feb 10, 2008 On draught during the Winterfest 2008 in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. Pours a hazy golden light orange pale brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film and thin white ring. Aroma of some multi-grain and caramel malt, some fruity character with some apple and a touch of yeast. Taste is medium bodied, quite smooth for an unfiltered beer with flavors of light caramel malt, some apple/pear character with a touch of candi sugar hidden in the fruity flavor. Finish is semi-sweet, smooth with very little bitterness. This is a nice version of their regulal Maifest that the brewery produces this time of year.
