Commercial Description:
This all malt, Vienna-style lager is a real crowd pleaser! Roasted malts and imported hops give it a deliciously smooth malt taste backed by a light hop finish. Perfect for any occasion.

Picked up a single bottle in the Twin Cities area. Pours a deep orangish brown brew with an off white, lumpy foam head. Slowly dissolving and leave a good lacing. Aroma is light citrus, caramel and a touch of brown sugar. Taste is sweet with caramel and a flowery aftertaste. The bitter finish is sweet compared to the lighter brews from Schell.

Bottled & poured in a shaker glass. It looks light & murky with no head to speak of. It smells like acidic apples and follows up with an apple taste.

33 cl bottle, Minneapolis. Deep amber colour, pure malt aroma, not overly sweet as some vienna styles can be. Nice clean finish.

Poured from a 12-ounce bottle into a pint glass. Caramel color with a very thin light tan head. Smell of citrus and hops. The taste was of citrus, grassy, some hops and a slightly bitter finish. The light roasted malt tones came through more about mid-glass.

Thanks to hopdog for picking this up for me when he was in Minnesota. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with a smaller creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel, some oxidation, some toffee and grainy maltiness, bready with just a touch of hops. Flavor of caramel, sweet malt, light citrus hop bitterness and some breadiness. I think this one was reach the peek of it’s shelf life..unsure of how old it was which I feel is the responsibility of the brewer to put a "born on" or "fresh by" date on the bottle...especailly for a Vienna.

12 oz. bottle. Malty, slightly metallic aroma, with citrus sharpness. Pours a sparkling amber/tan with a large amount of frothy cream-colored head; translucent. The bubbles are large in quantity and long-lasting, along the lines of a champagne. The flavors are subtle but quite pleasant. FireBrick is surprisingly hoppy given the aroma and the style. Otherwise, the tastes are typical of those of a good Vienna. Crisp, lively, drinkable, and refreshing in the palate; light to medium body. This is an appetizing lager. It seems as though it would hold up well to multiple tastings and large quantities of consumption. I suspect it would also pair well with pizza.

Bottle. Pours clear dark yellow with a large rocky off-white head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple. Light bodied, slick texture, average carbonation and a metallic finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.
